Making a representation
As well as Responsible Authorities, any other person can make a representation regardless of their geographic proximity to the premises.
Representations must also be relevant
For a representation to be relevant it must be one that is about the likely effect of the application on the promotion of one or more of the four licensing objectives. The four licensing objectives are:
the prevention of crime and disorder
the prevention of public nuisance
the protection of children from harm
A representation will only be relevant if the licensing authority considers it not to be vexatious or frivolous.
To have your say
Enter your name, address and comment identifying if you object to or support the Licence application being granted. If you object to the application, please provide the reasons for this and how they relate to one or more of the four licensing objectives. If you need to expand on your objection, please email this directly to email@example.com along with your name and address. Then use the SUBMIT button to register your representation. Once the consultation period has ended, we will write to you to invite you to a hearing at which the application will be determined.
All representations will be published in full on the Cambridge City Council website unless you advise that you wish your personal details to be removed prior to publication. If you wish your personal details to be removed please either state this in your comments or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org prior to the end of the consultation period for this application.
